What Do You Know About Kiryas – The Cleansing Techniques of Yoga?

The ancient art yoga has many techniques to explore for the people who are learning yoga to raise the level of spirituality. The practice of yoga helps you to stay fit and healthy as well as help you to fight various types of health complications. With regular practice of yoga, it helps you to increase your workforce as well as develop a sense of discipline in your personality.

The practice of yoga is the best way to cleanse your mind, body, and soul. With an increasing number of diseases and a hectic lifestyle, the human body has got lots of impurities inside.

Various Techniques for Cleansing

In yoga, Ayurveda is one of the branches which tells a lot of technique about staying healthy. The human body is made of three types of doshas. According to Ayurveda, there are three types of doshas in the human body.

The doshas are listed below:-

(1.) Vata Dosha:- It is one of the important constituents of the body which is responsible for the mechanical functioning of the body.

(2.) Pitta Dosha:- This Dosha is responsible for controlling the chemical functioning of the body.    

(3.) Kapha Dosha: –This constituent comprises of the material configuration When they are in equilibrium, the body functions properly, and you feel healthy.

Yoga has the power to keep all doshas in balance. The recommended process has got six steps, and they are known as Shat Kriyas. The Shat Kriyas will purify the whole body.

The Shat Kriyas are listed below:-

(1.) Neti:-

Neti

It is a technique to clean the nasal passage. The nose is the most important part of the human body used for breathing. Hence the cleaning of nasal passage is very important. There are various forms of Neti, such as Jal Neti, Dugdha Neti, Ghrita Neti, and Sutra Neti.

(2.) Dhauti:-

It is a technique of cleaning the stomach and digestive tract. It is known as Dhatui. It consists of four parts named as antar Dhauti, danta dhauti, had Dhauti, and moola dhauti. Once after practicing the yogic kriya, the stomach and digestion are in equilibrium.

(3.) Nauli:-

It is performed through the massage of the abdomen. The main aim is to purify the digestive organ, and the small intestine is done through the stomach muscles. Four different types of Nauli are Madhya Nauli, Vama Nauli, Dakshina nauli, and Nauli Kriya.

(4.) Kapalabhati:-

This technique helps to clean the lungs and esophagus. The air is inhaled to contract the abdominal muscles and exhale to bring them to be normal. The forceful exhalation from the nostrils clears your mind.

(5.) Basti:- This is a technique to purify the colon. The use of medicated oils and ghee are used as an enema to clean the colon. It helps you to strengthen immunity.

(6.) Trataka:- It is a technique which requires gazing at an object for some time. It helps the mind to come to a halt. This technique helps you to strengthen the eye muscles. It helps in curing the eye muscles as well as strengthing the eye muscles.
