Similar to acupuncture, although not involving needles, acupressure is where a trained practitioner will apply pressure to a variety of stress points all over your body, to remove any tension within them, and leave you feeling relaxed and stress-free. Acupressure is an ancient practise with a very long history here in India, and is therefore a great way to reconnect with your mind and body as a complement to your yoga and/or meditation training.

Acupressure operates on the concept of life energy, which flows through various points in your body known as “meridians”. By opening these points up, your life energy is able to flow better, and you will therefore feel increased energy and wellness. Many people who try it find it incredibly helpful to them, and its effects are noticeable immediately after each session.
